At ECS, we view treatment for our clients as a journey with two distinct yet overlapping phases. The first phase involves intervention and treatment, while the second supports transition to home. Our goal is to guide families successfully through these phases from beginning to end.
This phase focuses on leaving home to learn new coping skills, develop new insights and let go of old behaviors. Our consultants go through a deliberate process to identify our client’s needs, determine criteria for treatment, and then to develop a specific plan. Once this assessment process is complete, we are able to recommend for our clients a customized spectrum of treatment services. The range of options include:
This phase involves returning home to reintegrate with the family, apply newly learned skills to more complex situations, and take the next steps in life. The journey from intervention, to treatment, and finally to the transition home can feel both overwhelming and extremely rewarding. Our goal at ECS is to guide, support and advocate for families throughout this process.
ECS has partnered with Homeward Bound, a leader in aftercare services and parent education. Together we provide processes and tools to empower parents to create the context for achieving greater success within their family while maximizing the staying power of their child’s treatment experience.
